Liability Waiver

I understand that adventure hiking with a pack of dogs involves inherent risks, including terrain, wildlife, weather, injury from other dogs, escape, illness, and off-leash movement, and that no amount of care can eliminate those risks. I voluntarily choose to have my pup participate anyway.

I confirm that my pup is at least 6 months old, spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccinations (and I've uploaded proof), and free from any contagious illness. I've disclosed any behavioral issues, medications, allergies, or medical conditions Outpack should know about. If my pup develops fleas, ticks, or a contagious illness, I'll notify Outpack before their next scheduled hike.

I understand hikes are partially off-leash. I've worked on recall with my pup, and I accept that Outpack will keep dogs on-leash whenever the trainer judges recall unreliable, terrain unsafe, or the pack composition risky. That judgment is final.

If my pup is injured or falls ill during a hike, I authorize Outpack to seek reasonable emergency veterinary care. I'll reimburse Outpack for reasonable vet costs incurred on my pup's behalf.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge Outpack, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability for injury, illness, escape, loss, or death of my pup arising out of participation in Outpack hikes, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. I agree to indemnify Outpack for any damage or injury my pup causes to third parties or their property.

I grant Outpack a non-exclusive license to use images and video of my pup for marketing, social, and business purposes. I can opt out any time by emailing hello@outpackhikes.com.

This waiver is governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
