We tried eleven once. Eleven became twelve in our heads, then thirteen by the parking lot. Ten lets us know every pup by pace and snack preference. Ten stays.
The pond was brown, the trails were squelchy, and every dog came home looking like they'd been dipped in chocolate milk. Best day of the month.
She did not eat the turtle. The turtle did not eat her. We're calling that diplomacy.
